? Change your routine for dog walks – If thieves know your routine, it will increase their chances of a successfully stealing your dog.
? Use security lighting in the garden – The lighting will help deter potential dog nappers away.
? Install CCTV that you can access from your mobile ‘on the go’ – Check in on your dog anytime and anywhere from your phone using a remote access CCTV system.
? Never leave your dog unattended – Never leave your dog tied up outside a shop, you are leaving them vulnerable to pet thieves. You should also make sure your dog is always in visual range when they’re playing in the garden or park.
? Make sure your garden gates are locked at all times and a security system is in place. We provide a wide range of security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and automated gates, all of which can be tailored to your circumstances and budget..
? Make sure your dog is micro chipped and wearing an identification tag – doing this will help signify that he/she has a home.
